Tips for painting this design

Start with the sky and the beige sand, then the wave. Its turquoise and dark blue gradients need the most attention, so paint them in broad bands before the white foam. Keep the fine brush for Maui's tattoos, the oar and Heihei's feathers. Pua and Heihei are small, so leave them until the main characters are done. The 40x40 cm size suits the square framing, and 50x70 cm gives you more room for the turtle and the water details. Allow around 20 to 40 hours depending on the size.
