Tips for painting this design

Paint the rays of light and the sky blue background first. They are the largest surfaces, they set the depth of the picture, and they show you how far the paint goes before you touch the puppy. Work from the top of the canvas down so your hand rests on dry paint. Keep the face, muzzle and collar for the last session, when the outlines around them are already covered. The round tag takes one thin coat of brown with the fine brush. Add the stars and paw prints once the background is dry to the touch, otherwise the fine lines blur into the blue.

The 30x40 cm and 40x40 cm sizes keep the flat areas comfortable and the face clear; 40x50 cm and above leave more room for the stars and paw prints. The canvas arrives rolled, with a wooden frame to assemble or with the canvas already mounted on its frame (except in 50x70 and 60x80 cm, delivered rolled). Allow around 8 to 20 hours depending on the size, and we dispatch within 48 hours.

The level is beginner, so the flat background makes a fair first canvas.
