Tips for painting this design

Start with the large beige and pale yellow blocks of the background, using the wide brush. Then paint the face one area at a time: the black outlines keep the yellow and orange apart. Use the fine brush for the hair strands and the drips, and apply the paint in short strokes that follow the curves. Leave the teal for last on the sides, because it borders areas you have already filled. A larger size gives the fine brush more room, and the whole portrait takes around 12 to 30 hours depending on the size. You can choose 24, 36 or 48 colours depending on the option.
