Tips for painting this design

Start with the ochre and sand shape: it covers large areas and goes on quickly with the wide brush. Paint the black branches next, in one stroke each, so the lines stay even. Finish with the red and orange leaves, then the small round buds with the fine brush. Two thin coats give the black branches more contrast against the beige than one thick coat.
