Questions about this design
Which size shows the dress patterns clearly?
30x30 cm is the smallest we suggest. From 40x40 cm upwards the ethnic prints and the striped tights separate easily and the face keeps clean edges. Smaller formats such as 20x30 cm suit a quick project.
Are the butterflies hard to paint?
Their wings are narrow, so use the fine brush and a light hand. Paint the red first, let it dry, then add the white. Corrections are easy once the beige around them has dried.
Is the lavender field design suitable for a beginner?
We rate it intermediate. The background and the dress are medium areas that go quickly, while the eyes, the wings and the striped tights ask for the fine brush.
