BTS silhouette at sunset paint by numbers
This BTS paint by numbers shows seven profiles lined up along a clear horizon. The matching outfits read in the black outlines, and an orange halo traces each shoulder. The sky fills the upper half of the canvas: a gradient from golden yellow to coral pink, then purple. Clouds drift across this band of colour. The square format keeps the group centred. Every area carries a number, from the largest (the sky) to the finest (the faces in profile). The kit contains the printed canvas, the numbered paint pots and three brushes.
Tips for painting this design
Start at the top of the sky: the golden yellow and coral pink bands go on in broad flat strokes with the medium brush. Save the purple and dark orange for the end, once the edges are dry. The seven black silhouettes need a fine brush: follow the printed outlines without spilling over into the halo. A 30x30 cm or 40x40 cm size suits the medium level of detail in the design. The 50x50 cm leaves more room for the faces in profile.
Sizes, colours and painting time
The design comes in 15x15 to 70x80 cm (12 sizes). You choose a kit with 24, 36 or 48 colours, on rolled canvas, with or without a wooden frame to assemble. Allow roughly 12 to 30 h depending on the size.
What's in the kit
Canvas:The printed linen canvas carries the outlines and numbers of the seven profile silhouettes and the clear sky.
Paint:The numbered acrylic paint pots cover the orange, golden yellow, coral pink, purple and black of the sky and the silhouettes.
Brushes:The wide brush covers the vast sky, the medium one the shaded clouds, the fine one the outlines of the silhouettes.
Guide:The paper guide to the design helps you check the numbers for the sky gradients and the matching outfits.
Optional:The wooden frame to assemble stretches the printed sunset canvas, otherwise it arrives rolled in a tube.
Without frame
The canvas arrives rolled in a tube. You paint it flat and frame it afterwards if you wish.
With frame
Wooden stretcher bars to assemble stretch the canvas. You paint on a taut surface and hang the finished picture on the wall.
Questions about this design
Which size should I choose for this BTS picture?
30x30 cm or 40x40 cm is enough for the medium level of detail. 50x50 cm makes the profiles easier to read. Avoid 15x15 cm: the seven silhouettes are too cramped there to lay the blacks down neatly.
Are the faces in profile hard to paint?
They need a fine brush and a little patience. The printed outlines guide your hand. Paint the orange halo around the heads first, then the black of the silhouettes once that area is dry.
Who is this BTS paint by numbers kit a gift for?
Fans of the group who want a picture to hang. The square format sits on a shelf or a bedroom wall. The kit contains everything you need, without a frame if you choose the rolled canvas.
How do I start a paint by numbers?
Start at the top of the sky: lay the golden yellow and coral pink bands in broad flat strokes with the medium brush. Save the purple and dark orange for the end, once the edges are dry. The seven black silhouettes are painted with the fine brush, following the printed outlines.
Is paint by numbers difficult?
The design is medium detail. The sky goes on in broad flat strokes, then the seven black silhouettes need a fine brush to follow the outlines without spilling over into the halo. Allow roughly 12 to 30 h depending on the size you choose.
