Understanding the features of a personalised paint by numbers kit
Each personalised kit includes a pre-printed numbered canvas made from your own photo, numbered pots of acrylic paint, 3 brushes and a colour guide. The canvas comes either rolled in a tube without a frame or with a wooden stretcher frame to assemble, so it is painted taut and hangs straight away.
Because the design is built from your photo, the numbered areas follow the shapes in your image. A larger canvas gives larger areas, which helps with fine detail, and a smaller one is quicker to finish.
Choose a clear photo of your own subject, such as family, a pet or a favourite place. Upload it through the custom paint by numbers page and we prepare a numbered canvas from it, along with numbered pots of acrylic paint, 3 brushes and a colour guide.
Pick one of the 12 canvas sizes. A larger canvas gives larger numbered areas, which makes small details easier to paint, while a smaller canvas is quicker to finish. You can have the canvas rolled in a tube or with a wooden stretcher frame to assemble.
A standard kit uses a ready-made design, while a personalised kit is made from your own photo. With the custom option, you send us an image of family, a pet or a place, and we prepare a numbered canvas from it, with numbered pots of acrylic paint, 3 brushes and a colour guide.
Both come with the same materials. The main difference is the picture itself, and for personalised kits you can choose from 12 canvas sizes, with or without a wooden stretcher frame.
Yes. Once you have chosen the size, the number of colours and the frame option, you upload your photo and save your customisation: you can already see it as paint by numbers on the page. Our graphic designers then trace the numbered areas, prepare the palette and send you a preview of the numbered canvas.
We only print the canvas after you approve that preview, so you know exactly what you will paint before your kit is made.
You choose 24, 36 or 48 colours when you order. With 24 colours the canvas stays simpler and quicker to paint, while 36 or 48 colours give finer shading, which suits faces and animal fur.
Each pot is numbered to match the areas on the canvas, and the kit also includes 3 brushes and a paper guide showing the canvas layout.
With a personalised paint by numbers kit: you send your photo, it is turned into a numbered canvas, and you receive the canvas with the matching paints. A sharp, well-lit photo gives the best result.
