How do I mix colours in acrylic painting?

Work on a palette or a plate with a clean brush. Always start with the lighter colour and add the darker one in small amounts. Mix enough paint for the whole area: matching exactly the same shade later is difficult.

The primary colours make the secondary ones: yellow + blue = green, red + yellow = orange, red + blue = purple.
