Which brushes should you use for the fine details of the dragon's scales?
Every kit includes 3 brushes, and for fine work such as scales, claws and facial features, use the smallest of the three. Keep it for detail only and rinse it between colours so the tip stays pointed. Load the brush lightly rather than overloading it, and work in short, controlled strokes.
For larger areas like wings and backgrounds, switch to a broader brush. If you find the smallest brush is not fine enough for a particular spot, a finer brush from your own supplies can help.
